What the free checker does

Print resolution at print size

Enter the width you'll print at and see the effective DPI. Green at 300 or more, amber from 150 to 299, red under 150.

Ink colour count

Get an estimate of how many ink colours your design uses: exact for vector fills in SVG and PDF, estimated for PNG and JPG.

Auto-reduce preview

See a preview of your art reduced to fewer ink colours, so you know what a cheaper print run could look like.

Every report is an estimate. The shop confirms on proof.

Embed it for your shop

Print shops can put the checker on their own website with one iframe, a script tag, or the WordPress plugin. Customers check their art before they send it, so you get fewer files you have to chase.
